The Peeksville Hide & Cheep Chicken Coop uses a storybook activity guide to jumpstart the play. Follow along with the story and drop eggs into the coop as directed. When it’s time to retrieve the eggs, the coop doors open in fun ways – fold up, fold down, or rotate – that all help with fine motor skills. You can even open the three eggs and place one of the three chicken figures inside for a game of hide and seek.  Practice sorting with the Mini Farmstand Sorting Set. Use the six removable sorting baskets to sort 30 mini fruits, veggies, jams, baked goods, flowers, and more. It even comes with 10 mini money pieces so kids can roleplay all aspects of working and shopping at a farmer’s market. The 15 double-sided activity cards guide kids through different play scenarios, such as counting, memory, and sorting by color and letter. Parents can read through the activity guide for more help encouraging the learning play. Everything stores in the rear drawer of the playset when playtime is over. Price Check $16.99 Should I get it? Both of these playsets do a great job helping young kids practice fine motor skills and early learning skills. We like that both include activity guides to get the play going and help translate the educational content into the play. But both of these will also be fun for kids to explore and play with however they want, encouraging a lot of imaginative roleplay.
