The truck bed features a working tailgate where kids can store essential gear, such as other Lightyear toys. To make the vehicle go, kids simply press down on the pedal. Lift up on the pedal to stop. For beginners, the ride-on travels forward or in reverse at 2.5 miles per hour, while more advanced drivers can move the shifter to high speed for a forward speed of 5 miles per hour.
